08/29/06 - Traded the VW in on a 2002 Pontiac Montana mini-van, I know, I know, me??? Yes I have a mini-van and I like it, not as sporty or fast as the WRX or even the VW, but the VW was a time bomb about ready to fall apart, and that made me unhappy. It had a heat related clunking sound, the sound made me think ball joint, but it was directly heat related. Then more recent we took it in for an oil change and asked them to rotate tires and check the brakes, the brakes that should have been 100% perfect in January were worn out so bad the rotors and rear calipers were trash, so they wanted $971 to fix this new issue and that is when Amber suggested trading it in. We looked at a few different cars and found nothing in our budget as well, she wanted a mini-van. I did not know at first, but looked at a couple and found they take DVD players and TVs quite well, so we got one.
01/25/06 - Traded for a Volkswagen Passat last night, will post more about this here in the near future and add pics to my Gallery page.
Additional reasons why:
- The back seat, though the car is 4-door is not the easiest for car seats, Passat larger and roomier back seats
- Gas mileage on the WRX was between 19-21 for normal around town driving, Passat seems more like 24-25 MPG
- Gas mileage on trips for the WRX was about 25 MPG and the Passat looks to be (estimated) 30+ MPG
- WRX Image made me think I should drive it harder, Passat more classy makes me feel like I should take it easier
- Number 1 most important reason to trade Subaru Impreza WRX 6 months insurance = $1250 Passat (same policy) $852
Wish I did not have to, but life changes cause different ways of life.
06/27/04 - Got my graphics on today and had some issues, but all in all turned out pretty good :o)

Been kinda lazy, so no pics yet :-(
04/19/04 - Ceramic pads are awesome, quiet, clean and stop better then Semi-Metallic.
Looking for a 1" drop kit for my WRX next!
I'll also have pics here soon of my new bezel and gauges and Cold Air.
